Thakur Bhupendra Singh et son fils Ajit sont de puissants propriétaires qui oppriment une communauté de villageois sans défense. Ajit épouse Laxmi, une citadine venue au village pour être avec son frère, Bheema. Bheema et Gauri, une belle du village fougueuse, sont amoureux mais avant de pouvoir se marier, la tragédie survient. Ajit, qui avait abandonné Laxmi peu après leur mariage, revient et l'assassine. La loi est impuissante et Bheema décide de se faire justice lui-même.

Thakur Bhupendra Singh and his son Ajit are powerful landlords who oppress a community of helpless villagers. Ajit marries Laxmi, a city girl who has come to the village to be with his brother, Bheema. Bheema and Gauri, a feisty village belle, are in love but before they can get married, tragedy strikes. Ajit, who had abandoned Laxmi soon after their marriage, returns and murders her. The law is powerless and Bheema decides to take justice into his own hands.
